Shelton, Washington is a wonderful town. We believe our residents deserve the best of everything. This fundamental idea has always inspired our commitment to local live entertainment productions. We understand, many area residents enjoy the excitement of metropolitan venues, but they prefer staying close to home. Mason County Concert Association presents world-class live productions just a few miles away.
Our Mission
The Mason County Concert Association is a nonprofit organization. We’re committed to bringing exceptional entertainment to residents of Shelton and Mason County, and our surrounding areas. We want to introduce our audiences to a variety of artists and different music styles. Every time we see audiences relax, smile, and enjoy our live productions, we feel confident we’re fulfilling our mission.

Our History
Sail on - Beach Boys Tribute
Mason County Concert Association began in 1949 as a classical music venue. We collaborated with an existing national community organization, originally founded in 1926. Shelton was one of the small towns they connected with a network of world-class entertainers. The community often remembers us for our classical concerts, but over the years, our performances have showcased pop, folk, and a variety of exciting music styles. We’ve also offered theater productions, musicals and other types of live entertainment.
We have developed associations with community groups throughout the area. We frequently welcome visitors from Thurston, Grays Harbor, and Jefferson Counties. Through our special reciprocity agreements, MCCA season ticket holders can also enjoy concerts presented by neighboring communities.

Our work has allowed us to establish friendships throughout Shelton and Mason County, and beyond. We’re always delighted to see our friends, family, and neighbors come together for an enjoyable evening of entertainment. Whether you’ve attended our concerts frequently or you’re arriving for a first time event, we’re excited to welcome you, and we look forward to seeing you again.
We are also excited about our business associations. MCCA has a close relationship with the Shelton Performing Arts Center and the Shelton High technical team that keeps our events on track. Our organization is a member of the Shelton Mason Chamber, with a page in their Arts, Culture & Entertainment section. We’re also pleased to have a Music & Nightlife listing on the ExploreHoodCanal tourism site.
